Delivery Overview

Here at Porton Garden Aquatics & Pets we know the importance of a speedy delivery.

We aim to despatch all in stock orders received before 11am,
Monday - Friday, on the same day.

We also use a next working day delivery service so that your goods will be with you as quickly as possible.
(Excluding pallet deliveries)
Our standard delivery charges are for orders being shipped to the main land UK, as specified by our couriers. Items being shipped to zone 2 & 3 are subject to additional delivery charges. Please contact one of our sales team to request a quote. 
Most of our products, unless otherwise stated, fall into the following delivery price brackets:
Some items may be shown as Buy in Store Only. This is usually due to the fragility, size or nature of the product. It may be that we are able to send these items using an alternative courier, please contact us for a quote.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What if the items I ordered are not in stock?
If the items you have ordered are not in stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know how quickly we should be getting more. We replenish our stock every week, so provided our suppliers have stock, we aim to dispatch your items within 5-10 working days. 
What if a product arrives damaged?
All our products are carefully checked before being dispatched, and whilst we do all we can to ensure safe packaging, occasionally an order will be damaged during transit. We do all we can to provided a speedy resolution when this occurs. Please read our  Returns Policy for more details. 
Can I request a delivery day?
During the checkout procedure, you are able to add any special requirements or delivery instructions. If you would like to receive your items on a specific day, we will do all we can to ensure the courier meets your needs. 
I changed my mind, can I cancel my order?
Provided we have not already dispatched your order, we can refund your order if you decide you no longer want the products. If your items have already arrived, and you decide you do not want to keep them, please return them to us in good condition and in the original packaging and we will give a full refund for your items. 

Standard Delivery Service

Some zones, as specified by our courier, do not have a 24 hour service available to them.

Oversized Delivery Service

Oversized Delivery can refer to large items going via our normal courier as well as item going via our Pallet courier.
Large items going by our normal courier are subject to the zones mentioned above for the Standard Delivery Service. If your delivery postcode is outside of mainland UK as stated by our courier, this service may be subject to longer deliver times and possibly surcharges.

Items that need to be sent via our Pallet Courier are subject to different Zones within the UK, please click Here to see a list of these Zones.
With this delivery sevice your order will be dispatched to our pallet courier, our courier will then contact you to arrange a convenient time to delivery your order.
Your order will normally arrive 48-72 hours after it has been dispatched.

Free Delivery

Many of our products are offered with FREE DELIVERY! Please note that free delivery is only applicable to products specified, and orders with multiple products and delivery charges will be charged the one delivery charge at the higher bracket. 

Items on Free Delivery will still be subject to the above information regarding their delivery service.

All pallet deliveries need to be booked in by our courier, so customers will receive a confirmation call to arrange this.
No pallet deliveries will be attempted until it has a delivery day booked in with the customer.
Pallets are kerb side delivery only.

We cannot accept claims for damages once you have inspected and signed for your goods.
It is therefore essential that you are satisfied that your goods are in good condition at the time you take delivery.
