Who are Porton Garden Aquatic & Pets?
Porton Garden Aquatic & Pets is a massive Garden, Pet, Reptile and Aquatic Centre, situated no more than 5 miles from Stonehenge. Our huge centre is worth a visit and is ideal for the young, old and all the family.
There is so much to see and a great atmosphere, it is a great place to visit.
Tony and Mary Allen started Porton Garden Centre in March 1988 with Gareth (their son) joining them in 1996 and Laura (their daughter) joining in 1998. With this firmly set team of directors, the business has blossomed and expanded through the years and is continuing to grow.
Our Indoor and Outdoor fish Departments are the biggest in our area, we have over 150 Tropical fish tanks, 35 Marine fish tanks and 14 Indoor Coldwater tanks in our indoor fish house and over 83000 litres of Pond fish tanks! This does not include our 'Juwel' show tanks which are stocked full of colourful & interesting fish these tanks give inspiration of how to set up your own tank.
On the Pet Department we stock a wide range of Reptiles, Small animals, Rabbits, Birds and Parrots. Everything from a Lizard to a Love bird.
We take great pride in what we do and the welfare of ALL animals, our staff are fully trained to help in all the departments, from the aquatic staff who can deal with water qualities to working out you pond liner size, to our reptile and pet staff who can help with sexing, housing or maybe just the basic care that your animals need, all the information you want whether you are an enthusiast or a beginner.
