Crunchy Bars Yak Milk 70g Treat from Yakers

Our Crunchy Bars are the biggest treats in the Crunchy Snack range. For dogs who want the full enjoyment of a Yakers chew without so much of the chewing.
Handmade in the Himalayas, our Crunchy Bars are a great healthy treat that dogs love.

How its made:
The milk gets delivered from Yak farms, local dairies and individual herders in the Himalayas. The milk is turned into cheese, the cream is removed, making them low in fat.
A very small amount of lime juice and salt is used to coagulate (harden) the milk. The coagulated solids are compressed in muslin cloth until most of the moisture has been removed.
Formed blocks are left to rest for a few days until they are ready to be cut. The chews are smoke dried for 28 days while being hung or on a wire grid in smoking sheds.
To create the puffed up treats, the chews are then heated for a short period of time creating these delicious crunchy snacks, handcrafted in the Himalayas.
