Description

Chlorophytum orchidastrum ‘Green Orange’ Plant from Javado

An evergreen perennial, normally grown as an indoor plant, producing a 40cm clump of lance-shaped, dark green leaves with finely tapered points and pale pinkish-orange stems.
Short, almost stemless, spikes of greenish-white, star-shaped flowers appear in the centre of the clump in spring and summer.

Chlorophytum are evergreen, rhizomatous perennials with linear or lance-shaped leaves and slender arching stems bearing loose racemes or panicles of small,
starry white flowers, in some species also bearing plantlets.
