We are Open for Limited Customers In Store
Click & Collect and Online Orders Still Available

In line with Government Guidelines we are deemed as an essential shop, so we will be remaining open. We request where possible for customers to make their purchase through our website for click and collect or home delivery.
Essential and non-essential products will be available to order.

Government guidelines state you should only travel to make essential purchases, if you are unable to make your purchase via our website and need to visit our store we prefer that where possible you shop alone, follow social distancing measures and card payment is preferred.

Click & Collect

To place a click & collect order select the collection option before adding the items to your basket, process your payment and complete your transaction.

You will then receive 2 emails:
1. The first email will be to confirm we have received your order.
2. You will receive a second email once we have your item/s ready for collection.

We aim to have orders placed before 11am ready for collection after 3pm on the same day. (This does not include Bank Holidays or Public Holidays) And within our stores normal opening times. If we are unable to fulfil your order you will be notified at the soonest opportunity.

At this time we are trying to process all click and collect orders as a priority, so if you order after 11am we will do our best to still get this ready for you on the same day.

Please do not travel to collect your order until you have received your email confirming that your order is ready for collection. You will need to bring the Ready for Collection email and photo ID with you. You cannot collect your order until you have received this email. This email can be printed or presented on a mobile phone or tablet. We will hold your order for up to 7 days for you to collect from the designated collection day.

Before you travel to the store, please ensure you have the following with you:
1. Your ‘Ready For Collection’ email.
2. Your photo ID, this must match the details on your order.

Delivery Information

Please be aware that at this time our couriers are experiencing delays due to the high quantity of shipments being received, you will still be able to track your order but your tracking may not be updated at every step. At this time the delivery service guarantees have been suspended by our couriers, this means that we will still send your parcel/pallet out on either a next day service or book in service, but the time frame of this service is not guaranteed by our couriers.

We have made the decision that the safest way to remain open is to ask customers to use our website for click & collect and home delivery services and to not allow customers in the store for browsing at this time. Unfortunately this also means that we are unable to sell any new pets.

Open for Click & Collect and Online Orders

8 weeks ago we were told as a pet shop we could remain open, we as a family run business made the decision that the safest way to remain open was to ask customers to use our website for click & collect and home delivery services and to not allow customers in the store for browsing.
 
We are now being told Garden Centres can open from Wednesday.
At this time we still feel for the health & safety of our staff and our customers, the best way to do this is to continue with our current policies and to ask our customers to continue to use our online services as they have currently been doing.
 
We hope our customers understand that this decision has been made with the health & safety of our staff & customers as our priority, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon, when it is safe to do so.

We are now allowing a limited amount of customers in our store to make purchases, unfortunately at this time we are not selling any new pets & our Sharkbite Café is closed.
We are asking customers to wear a face covering in all indoors and outdoors areas of the store.
We request that browsing is kept to a minimum.
Where possible solo shoppers are preferred or very small family groups.
At this time we are not selling any new pets and our animals are currently not available to view or reserve.
 
Our Click & Collect and Home Delivery services are continuing and we will continue to prioritise Click & Collect orders, so if you order after 11am we will still do our best to get this ready for you on the same day.

We Are Staying Open But We Have Made Some Changes
Click & Collect And Online Orders Are Still Also Available

As an essential business we will be staying open during this second lockdown, which begins 05/11/20.
We are staying open so that your pets and plants can be kept healthy and safe.
As an essential store we are allowed to sell non-essential items including pets and livestock.
Please be aware that livestock areas have restricted access and you may be required to wait until a member of staff is free to assist in the livestock areas.
We will be making changes to help keep everyone safe so please read below before making a journey to our store.

To keep our customers and our staff safe during this time you will need to:

– Wear a mask in all areas of our store including all outdoor areas

– Solo shopper only. Please shop alone, this will help to keep the number of customers in our store to a minimum and reduce the need to queue

– No browsing, we understand that you may want to look around when you are in our store but we would like customers to spend the minimum amount of time in the store when making their purchases

– No cash, to help keep contact to a minimum we will not be excepting cash at this time

– We will be reducing the numbers of customers allowed in the store at one time to create as much space as possible

– Use click & collect, this is the safest and quickest way to make your purchases.
By using click & collect you can make sure we have all the products you need ready for you to collect.
Our Click & Collect and Home Delivery services are continuing and we will continue to prioritise Click & Collect orders, so if you order after 11am we will still do our best to get this ready for you on the same day. Click and collect is also a reduced contact service.

And lastly:

– Don’t panic, we are working closely with our suppliers and all the feedback from them shows that they are staying open and are well prepared with stock, so please make your purchase sensibly, there is no need to panic buy

We willing be doing all we can to stay open and keep everyone safe and we will be asking our customers to do the same.

We ask customers to respect our staff when in our store and kindly follow any safety instructions given.

If you are unable to follow our in-store safety guidelines or a family member has COVID-19 symptoms or you are told to isolate please do not visit our store.
We can deliver your items to your door, simply place your order on the website and select the home delivery option.
