Garden Mint (Mentha spicata) 9cm Pot
A very popular herb, used in a wide variety of dishes.Use the foliage before the flowers open for best results.Hardy herbaceous perennial, grows to 60cm (2ft).
Favourite features:Chop up leaves for mint sauce, vegetables, salad, yoghurt and ice-cream desserts. Also use tips as a garnish.
Chef’s Tip:Add a sprig 5’minutes before vegetables finish boiling.
Aftercare:Water plant and site well.Take out of pot, place in the prepared hole (same depth as pot), gently firm soil.Water as needed to keep moist. Cut back in winter.
