Hel-x 13 Biomedium breaks down nutrients and pollutants in the fluidized bed process in a highly efficient and cost-effective manner.This biomedium has an extremely large surface area of 955m² per m³ and provides plenty of protected space for microorganisms to colonize at 806m² per m³.
25 liters of Hel-x 13 can break down 170g of fish food/day. Suitable for removing toxins such as ammonium, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.The medium does not have to be cleaned in combination with a drum pre-separation. The new Hel-x media are white. Gradually they turn brownish, so that the degree of colonization is clearly visible.
