Horticultural Washed Gravel Handy Pack from Kelkay

The Horticultural Washed Gravel is ideal for top dressing plant pots, beds and borders. It can also be used for crocking & drainage.
Please keep in mind that natural materials will vary in size and colour, with some being significantly different.

Horticultural Washed Gravel can be used in a scree garden, add gravel to a scree garden to replace the subsoil and create a layer that the topsoil will sit on.
Topsoil for a scree garden should be 2 parts topsoil, 2 parts Horticultural Washed Gravel and 1 part Horticultural Sharp Sand.

Horticultural Washed Gravel is perfect to use as mulch. Top dress borders, potted plants and hanging baskets with a layer of gravel to minimise any water loss and prevent weeds germinating.
If you are planning a drought resistant garden, mulch your border with 5-7.5cm of gravel to help maintain moisture while the plants establish.
